Bamboo Flute Echo Song

A bright clear morning. Thinking about taking a hike, and feeling happy. A little bouncy tune on a bamboo flute to hit the trail with.

I bought this flute in Warren VT from a guy who made nice bamboo flutes in 1981 while living at my folk’s log Cabin for the better part of that year. I used to wander the old logging roads in the mountains plating this tune on it. Probably helped warn the bears who were eating raspberries on those roads that I was coming.

The intonation of the flute is naturally a little off, which gives it a slightly imperfect sound that to me is quintessentially bamboo flute.
