Tadpoles & Jellyfish (All Minimoog Version)

from Electrosonica by Ben Luce

/

about

This composition celebrates the diverse, teeming life on Planet Earth. It is performed here using only a vintage Minimoog Model D (except for the drum tracks), and thus serves as a demonstration of the instrument. The visuals were generated using an analog oscilloscope that belonged to Ben's father, Dr. David A. Luce, a designer of Moog and other synthesizers, who also worked to improve the Minimoog during the period 1972-1980 when he served as Director of Engineering for Moog Music Inc. Special thanks to Dr. Tom Rhea for use of his vintage Minimoog.
